From Asheville, NC
Take I-40 West to exit #27 (US 19/74 West).
Follow 74 West through Waynesville. Take exit 69 (Hyatt Creek Rd) Turn right
at the stop/yield sign,
take the first left (the river will be on the right), follow
road to stop sign. Turn Right, go approximately .4 miles, turn left on
Johnson Branch Rd.,
follow this road .8 miles (the road will turn to gravel) bare left after you
are on the gravel between the rock pillars. |
From Atlanta, GA
Take I-85 North to I-985, until you reach 441 North.
At Dillsboro, NC take Hwy 74 West to exit 69 (Hyatt Creek Rd) Turn
right at the stop/yield sign,
take the first left (the river will be on the right), follow
road to stop sign.
Turn Right, go approximately .4 miles, turn left on Johnson
Branch Rd., follow
this road .8 miles (the road will turn to gravel) bare left after you are on
the gravel between the rock pillars. |
From Knoxville, TN
Take I-40 East, and then take the Sevierville exit onto Hwy 441 South, through Pigeon
Forge, through the Great Smokies into Cherokee. At the third stop light make
a right, continue on US 19 8.5 miles make a right on Johnson Branch Rd.
(If you go across railroad tracks and a river you have
gone to far. Turn around and look for Johnson Branch road beside a row of
storage buildings.)
Follow Johnson
Branch Road .8 miles (the road will turn to gravel) bare left after you are
on the gravel between the rock pillars. |
From Chattanooga, TN
Take I-75 N, take exit #20 onto US-74 East, after about 6 miles take the
64
East Ocoee Exit and continue East on Hwy 64/74 to Andrews NC this
road then becomes 19/74. Take exit 69 (Hyatt Creek Rd) Turn
left at the stop sign,
take the second left (the river will be on the right), follow road to stop
sign.
Turn Right, go approximately .4 miles, turn left on Johnson
Branch Rd., follow
this road .8 miles (the road will turn to gravel) bare left after you are on
the gravel between the rock pillars.
